CIMES Awarded $4.8 Million from California Tobacco Control

The California Department of Public Health has again awarded CIMES a five-year grant to continue a 23-year partnership to help fight tobacco use. In 2001, CIMES developed a system for CDPH that supports the lifecycle of grants management to fund tobacco control programs across the state of California. The system also supports the analysis of program effectiveness at the local level. California has the longest and most successful tobacco prevention program in the country. CIMES is excited to be part of this important initiative and continue to provide outstanding services to support this client’s evolving needs.
