CIMES developed three short how-to videos for individuals applying for initial certificationi as an educator in Florida or for certification renewal or additional subjects and endorsements. These "whiteboard animation" videos are lively and engaging and specifically target typical "sticking points" in the application process. These videos are viewed by thousands of current and prospective educators each year, providing easily accessible information for applicants and saving Bureau of Educator Certification many hours of staff time that would have otherwise been spent responding to applicant queries via phone or email.

The initiative will soon add a video for prospective educators and others that traces the "life" of an educator certification application as it moves through the revivew and approval process.
