In addition to full web-based training packages, CIMES develops short video trainings that use whiteboard animation to present the basics of how to use an online system or web portal. The purpose of these videos is to give users a quick start at performing entry-level tasks required by the system. CIMES has developed quick start videos for applicants for California Tobacco Control Program funding and for individuals applying for Florida teacher certification.

The videos are fast-paced and employ animated characters and music to hold viewers’ interest, along with animated drawing tools to bring attention to important details on the screen or actions the viewer needs to take.
